Nanja Strecker

Nanja was responsible for founding Innovation Cells in 2007

Prior to this, she worked for nine years, first at The Monitor Group, a strategy consulting firm, and then at Doblin, an innovation consultancy. There she focused on innovation management assignments like reviewing innovation strategies and portfolios, designing new ideation and innovation processes and developing ideas into concepts and business cases. 

Nanja has a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe (Germany) and a PhD in Innovation Management.
 

At Innovation Cells, Nanja is responsible for Innovation Process Optimization, Innovation Coaching and Ideation. In addition to her work at Innovation Cells, she teaches university courses in innovation.
 

Nanja speaks German, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
 

Tim Gugov

Tim joined the Innovation Cells team in 2011

Prior to this, Tim was a management consultant with Bain & Company working with clients across North America focusing on growth strategy, product development and new market entry in sectors ranging from technology to consumer goods. He also held strategy and corporate development positions in the energy and technology sectors.
He received his PhD in Materials Science from Stanford University.

 

At Innovation Cells, Tim is responsible for the commercial development and evaluation of innovations. His activities encompass Customer Needs Identification, Market Potential Assessment, Partner Identification and Business Case Development.

 

Tim speaks English, French, Russian and Bulgarian.

Radka Jilkova

Radka joined the Innovation Cells team in 2011

Prior to this, Radka was a management consultant with Arthur D. Little working with clients across Europe focusing on growth strategy, performance improvement and sustainability issues in sectors ranging from consumer goods to transportation. Radka also held a marketing position in the cosmetics sector.
She received her Master in International Management from HEC Business School in Paris.
 
At Innovation Cells, Radka is responsible for the business development, identification and evaluation of innovations. Her activities encompass Customer Needs Identification, Market Potential Assessment, Partner Identification and Business Case Development.
 
Radka speaks English, French, Czech and Spanish.

Yves Conde

Yves joined the Innovation Cells team in 2008

Prior to this, he earned his PhD with honors from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (Switzerland). During his PhD, Yves developed a new process to produce aluminium foam and built an expertise in materials processing, characterization and testing.  He has published 10 scientific articles.

At Innovation Cells, Yves is responsible for Technology Scouting, Materials & Process Selection, Prototype Development and Technology Scale-up.

Yves speaks French, Spanish and English.
 

Mathieu Bailly

Mathieu joined the Innovation Cells team in 2011

Mathieu graduated form the Grenoble Institute of Technology (France) in 2007 with a major in structural materials before pursuing a PhD at Queen's University in Kingston, ON, Canada. During his PhD, Mathieu worked on the preparation and characterization of innovative polymer nanocomposites for the automotive industry. He has published 3 scientific articles as well as a chapter in a textbook.

 

At innovation Cells, Mathieu is responsible for Technology Scouting, Materials & Process Selection, Prototype Development and Technology Scale-up.

 

Mathieu speaks French, English and German.

Vincent Mathier

Vincent joined the Innovation Cells team in 2011

Vincent earned his PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Lausanne, Switzerland). During his PhD, he worked on modelling defects generated in continuous casting of aluminium alloys. He then worked 5 years as project manager for ESI Group, a leading company in virtual manufacturing, specializing in computer simulation of casting processes.

At Innovation Cells, Vincent is responsible for Technology Scouting, Materials & Process Selection, Prototype Development and Technology Scale-up.
 
Vincent speaks French and English.

Claudio Bacciarini

Claudio joined the Innovation Cells team in 2011

Previously, Claudio worked for six years as an engineer at the Laboratory of Mechanical Metallurgy at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL-LMM) in Lausanne.  At EPFL-LMM he was responsible for the design and development of lab facilities, the technical and logistical organization of the lab and was a teaching assistant in metallurgy courses.  He has expertise in CAD design, prototype development and mechanical testing of materials.  

 

At Innovation Cells, Claudio is responsible for Technology Scouting, Materials & Process Selection, Prototype Development and Technology Scale-up. Claudio has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Applied Science in Yverdon, Switzerland.   

 

He speaks Italian, German, French and English.
